A strong learning experience about trauma, healing, and promoting alignment.

Peter Levine, who created Somatic Experiencing, highlights that people often hold back their natural reactions to trauma because of social pressure, self-awareness, or fear of seeming weak. Instead of letting the body process these experiences, we tend to freeze, overanalyze, or stay in a constant state of stress. This suppression results in various symptoms.

This 3-hour continuing education session combines guided discussions and hands-on work with horses to help trauma-focused therapists understand how mammal brains heal. Horses respond to human emotions, providing valuable insights into our behaviors. Working with them allows us to identify patterns, manage emotions, and strengthen our connections.

Just thinking of you and how you changed my life. You’re an amazing man. Thank you for showing/helping me get back to me. I am now and continue to be “PRESENT” with everything everyday.
