Risk of Medication:
If you work with me you’ll learn I don’t believe SSRIs or other psychiatric meds work well long-term. So we’ll eventually need to stop them. Tapering off is hard, and most people underplay how difficult it is. I’ve made a short help page that I hope is useful.https://g.co/gemini/share/967ada1c3d36
Check out this website BEFORE you medicate, know the RISKS
My rule of thumb when thinking about medication is:
Do 6-8 therapy-based sessions to see if that helps relieve symptoms.
If your going on a medication have an exit plan!
Paradox of Anti-Anxiety medication:
Benzodiazepines are some of the most dangerous and addictive drugs, we created this resource to help people have a better understanding of the long-term effects, signs to look out for if they are concerned, and the withdrawal process.
